Musk organizes a “funeral flight” into space

The founder and co-owner of SpaceX, Elon Musk, decided to send the ashes of 152 former inhabitants of the Earth into orbit. For a capsule with seven grams of ashes of the deceased, friends and relatives pay $ 5 thousand each.
Each capsule contains an engraved sentimental message, for example, one of them sounds like “Reach for the stars!”. The “funeral flight” should begin in the late evening of June 24, according to Business Insider.
On this day, from the cosmodrome in Florida, the heavy-duty Falcon Heavy booster rocket will go into space. In addition to the capsules, it will deliver satellites into orbit.

Earlier, News.ru reported that the population of the Earth will significantly decrease by 2050, and not grow, according to the UN. This opinion was expressed by the head of Tesla and SpaceX, Ilon Musk, referring to the book of the Norwegian scientist Jorgen Randers “2052: a global forecast for the next forty years”, which says that approximately from 2040 the population will begin to decline.
